WCRF/AICR Publications

The findings on pancreatic cancer will be published in October 2012 and will be available from resource downloads. The CUP Expert Panel discussed the report on updated evidence prepared by the team of researchers from Imperial College London and reviewed the conclusions from the Second Expert Report. Publications will include:

UICC World Cancer Congress – 27-30 Aug 2012 Montreal, Canada

On 28 August from 13.30 to 14.30 WCRF International will host a symposium chaired by Kate Allen - Continuous Update Project: ensuring the most timely information on food, nutrition, physical activity and the risk of cancer. Topics covered will include:

Updating the evidence

The CUP database includes information from 2656 papers from randomised controlled trials and cohort studies on cancer prevention and survival.

Reports on breast cancer survivors, endometrial and ovarian cancers are expected later this year, which will be discussed by the CUP Expert Panel in June 2013 and published towards the end of 2013.

A Mechanisms Protocol Development Group has been working on guidelines for conducting systematic review of human and animal mechanistic studies.
